The Law Enforcement Profession is currently one which is very heavily scrutinized, ridiculed, and often demonized in the eyes of many. The goal of current Law Enforcement Professionals must be to establish a balance between regaining and maintaining the trust and legitimacy in the community while enhancing their aggressiveness towards predators to the health and safety of all, with their safety being paramount.
The Professional Officer of the Law, Institute of Certification & Education has identified a need to advance the level of Reserve/Intermittent Officer training and education and because of this has become an MPTC Certified Police Academy.
